Our design process begins with a thorough consultation to understand our client’s objectives, requirements, and aesthetic preferences. Whether it’s a recording studio, podcast studio, virtual event space, or broadcast studio, we tailor our designs to suit the specific needs of each project.
We have created a wide range of studios from podcast to large multi-stage sound stages in Bollywood. Our sector expertise, working alongside principal contractors and SME’s ensures that your studio is built to meet the demands of modern studio facilities. Whether it is just for RIBA stages 1-4, or all the way through to handover (RIBA 7), we can tailor a design package to suit.
Visualizing the final result is crucial, which is why we utilise advanced design tools such as 3D modeling and rendering. This allows our clients to immerse themselves in their studio space in detail before construction begins, ensuring that every aspect meets their expectations. From layout and aesthetics to equipment placement and branding, our 3D renders provide a realistic preview of the finished product.
The spatial layout of the studio ecosystem is key to optimising your productions flexibility, functionality and timings. For many larger studio projects time efficiency is a key budget concern. Studio amenities can include any of the following; workshop spaces, storage, scaffolding, green rooms, hair and make up, restaurants, bathrooms, production offices, DIT, Edit Suites / Previs facilities, screening rooms, parking, rehearsal spaces, peripheral banking, third party services and security.
Set Design
In addition to functionality, we prioritize aesthetics in our designs. We understand the importance of creating visually appealing spaces that reflect our client’s brand identity and style. Whether it’s sleek and modern or warm and inviting, we tailor the design to evoke the desired atmosphere and impression.
From physical sets ranging from podcast to interactive stages we can provide solutions that integrate into your studio space and preferred kit. Working closely with our Systems Integration team (link) we can embed customised LED lighting into your physical set.

Studio Customisation
How we customise the interior of a sound treated studio is entirely based around our client’s expectations.
Typical customisations include; lighting grids, cyclorama walls, DMX controlled LED lighting systems, custom lighting design and installation. We also supply acoustic drapes, studio flooring and associated services like make up, green rooms and post production suites.
The final design of the studios and ancillary services is entirely customisable. We have provided clients with options from fully blacked out to bright yellow podcast studios! The customisation of the studio doesn’t have to be permanent either, with many of our clients opting for interchangeable solutions.
