Bollywood Soundstages
SHAMSHABAD, HYDERABAD
Croga Studio Builds were approached by My Home Group, to develop a design layout for a world class film studio complex in Hyderabad, India. The site included six film studio soundstages and related amenities covering, green rooms, workshops, canteens, food courts, an event arena and deluxe villas.
To accommodate a project of this size we brought together a world class team that included:
Croga Studio Builds leading on Studio Planning, Postproduction Areas and Studio Adjacencies
Chetwoods for Architecture, Master planning and Interior design
Meinhardt for Project Management, Civil, Structural, MEP Engineering and Façade/Façade Access
Veneklasen Associates for acoustics, AV and IT / Security
Together we put forward a winning proposal covering the master planning and concept designs for this project.
Our designs focussed on the flexibility and functionality of the film space, phased expansion, green building concepts to ameliorate the local climate, considerations around access and services, noise mitigation and location planning within the wider land profile.
Within the masterplan process we focussed heavily on creating a space that could facilitate a seamless facility to shoot in. Each of the design aspects reflected the importance placed on staff, performer, and visitor wellbeing to produce one cohesive media ecosystem.
